DINING AREA

12-30-22 | For our dining area, we went with wood, glass, metallics, and neutrals. Since space is so limited in our home, we've opted to use our glass-bottled perfume and cologne collection as temporary decor. It also allows us to quickly spritz before leaving the house!

These chairs are so comfortable. I purchased 5 as a set with the table, since there were only 5 left at the store! I'm afraid my cats will scratch at it, but we'll see what happens.

This dining table is absolutely lovely. I saw it during Black Friday with my fiancé. At first, we did not get it, but there was a discount, so I HAD to snatch it! My favorite is the patterned top and gold trim accent.

Especially when you're buying it for a 56" dia. table, a glass top is expensive. It's an investment to be, since the dining tables are discontinued. I want to preserve it for as long as I can! I saw PVC mats too, but it ruins wood long-term.

On top of having glass to protect the wood, we bought placemats to protect the glass! We only take it out when the table is being used. Otherwise, it's tucked away under the tray in the middle, so we can be enamored by the wood finish.

This Globo Tray was purchased with a gift card I received! It's on the pricier side, but Jonathan Adler has a great selection of statement pieces for your home.

Bumpers are for in-between the table and the glass! The photo displays a temporary felt bumper, but we've replaced them with these clear ones.

These coasters are a nice touch when you are just having a drink and don't want the glass to hit the table top glass. It's a simple design so it won't overpower the beauty of the table top design. Cork at the bottom also protects the glass.
